Who must register for VAT in Switzerland?

The VAT registration threshold for businesses based in Switzerland is CHF 100,000.
Foreign companies operating in Switzerland are required to register for VAT if their worldwide annual turnover exceeds CHF 100,000 per year. Businesses may also opt for voluntary VAT registration.
There is no specific limit for VAT registration for distance selling.

Extract from the commercial register or other register in your country
